Hello! I’m Deepti Parab, a dietitian, nutrigenomics counselor, sports nutritionist, and diabetic educator. With 14+ years of experience in the clinical nutrition industry, wellness centers, and as a sports science faculty member at the Army Sports Institute, I bring a highly qualified and educated background to my work.

My journey towards this profession began in 2011, right after my graduation. Driven by a passion for health, fitness, and yoga, I always aspired to be fit and healthy, and this enthusiasm led me to become a dietitian. Turning my passion into a career was never a challenge.

I completed my Bachelor's degree in Food Technology & Management in 2009 from one of India’s reputed universities. My education didn’t stop there, as I further pursued a Post-Graduation Diploma in Sports Science Nutrition & Fitness to deepen my knowledge.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with renowned hospitals, clinical industries, and fitness centers. These experiences have honed my skills, helped me build management expertise, and ultimately inspired me to start my own virtual counseling center through online platforms.

One key lesson I’ve learned through counseling is that most people find it hard to follow a healthy diet because they think it’s boring or complicated. That’s why I’ve dedicated myself to creating delicious, easy-to-follow, and nutritious recipes that make healthy eating enjoyable.

I often get questions like:

  • "Does diet mean eating special foods?"
  • "Is a healthy diet more expensive than regular food?"
  • "Do I need special ingredients?"
  • "Is going to the gym required to follow a diet?"

The answer to all these questions is No. Healthy eating can be simple, delicious, and affordable. My advice is to include a variety of vegetables, fruits, nuts, beans, whole grains, fish, and meat in your daily meals. That’s all you need to maintain a fit and healthy lifestyle.

As a "foodie dietitian," I enjoy both vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals, and I believe in the importance of enjoying food while keeping it nutritious. The food I eat daily doesn’t compromise on taste, and I love experimenting with flavors to make my meals both healthy and delicious.
